One of the first things I noticed at the kotel was that the section for women was smaller than the section for men.

The interesting fact from history is that the division between the section for men and the section for women was not there beginning in 1967. It came later. The ultra Orthodox gained power because of the need for their votes to make a majority in the Knesset. This gives the ultra Orthodox the power to control the things they want to control.

Looking back, I wonder what would happen if I went into the women's section?
