Gotta love Amazon

Just got this e-mail from Amazon. I got a laugh out of it since I'm one of the co-editors with David Capes, Helen Bond, and Troy Miller. Anyway, this is a great collection of articles in honor of Larry Hurtado and Alan Segal. And this is a great price. It is over 600 pp. and hardcover. Many new insights on the development of Christology and issues of community in early Christianity.

April, Paul Foster told me how they managed to keep the publication a secret from both Sega and Hurtado. Pure brilliance! Looks like a good volume too!!

Michael,

It was so much fun. Somehow we were able to keep it secret. When they came into the room, each thought that they had written an article for a FS for the other. So to discover that the FS was for both of them was thrilling. They were overjoyed, and it is a volume that they both richly deserve. We worked hard to make it a coherent volume, like you might expect a conference volume on "Christology and Community" to look.
