Apocryphote of the Day: 7-28-08

The kind of person who can be saved is the one who seeks the self and the intellect. How much power this person has!...whenever this person [wants], he parts from all matters and withdraws into himself. For this person becomes divine, having withdrawn into god.

Zostrianos 44.1-4, 17-22 (third century Sethian texts)

Question:

What is the word translated as "intellect" here?

Nous? Dianoia?

I ask simply because I am doing some work with Platonism currently.

It is Nous.
